How It Works Types of Trainings There are two types of events on the platform: Announcement trainings are posted by coaches or organizers who want to reach out to new players. These trainings do not have online registration — if you are interested, you contact the organizer directly using the provided contact information. Managed trainings are organized by verified volleyball clubs and organizations. These trainings have a fixed number of spots and support online registration through the platform. You can join directly, track your spot, and receive email notifications. If You Are Looking for a Training or Game Browse the list of available trainings on the platform. You can filter by time, location, skill level, and price. Joining an Announcement training: Once you find something that works for you, use the contact information provided to reach out to the organizer and arrange your participation. Joining a Managed training: You can register directly through the platform by clicking Join. - If spots are available, you will be added to the main list and receive a confirmation email. - If the training is full, you will be placed on the wait list and notified if a spot opens up. You can leave a managed training at any time, but no later than 24 hours before the event starts. Private group trainings: Some managed trainings are organized for specific groups of players. These trainings are not visible in the public feed. If you are a member of a group, you can find your group trainings in your personal dashboard. If You Are a Coach or Organizer Register as a coach and create your first training. As a new coach you can immediately start posting Announcement trainings — your posts will be reviewed by an administrator before being published. If you want to create Managed trainings, you need to be part of an organization on the platform. There are two ways to make that happen: - If a volleyball club or team already exists on the platform, reach out to their Head Coach and ask to be added. - If you want to create a new organization, contact us at spikelysite@gmail.com and we will set it up for you. Once you are part of an organization, you can publish Managed trainings without waiting for administrator approval. Announcement training: A simple post with all the relevant details — time, place, level, price, and your contact information. Players will reach out to you directly. Managed training: Available to coaches who are part of an organization. They allow you to: - Set a maximum number of participants - Manage a main list and a wait list - Track payments - Move players between lists - Mark players who did not show up - Send custom email notifications to all registered participants - Restrict training access to a specific player group Organizations and Clubs Organizations represent volleyball clubs or teams on the platform. Each organization has a Head Coach who manages the team — adds and removes coaches, who are automatically verified once added. Head coaches can also create player groups — named lists of players used to organize private trainings accessible only to group members.
